science and technology Education in Nigeria through National Student Competition and participation in International youth competition and programmes like NTA-ETV Science Expo 2008, where we donated the first prize and sponsored the winners of the exhibition to attend 20th European union contest for young scientists in Copenhagen,Denmark in 2008.
This year we are organizing the maiden edition of the National Students Educational Scientific forum, a programme aimed at showcasing various scientific projects and innovation from young Nigerians .The theme of the programme is "Promoting Science and Technology Education for Sustainable Development"
The Sub-theme includes:
- The importance of science and technology education in the actualization of Government Development action plans (NEEDS,Vision 20 2020,7 Point Agenda and Millennium Development Goals)
- Knowledge of Environmental Science for sustainable interaction with the environment.(Climatic Change, Alternative Energy, CDM etc)
- That importance of Information and Communication Technology to the actualization of an emerging Knowledge society in Nigeria.
